The purpose of the conference is to present the results of the ECOnomics4Climate project. The project has been co-financed by the Metropolis GZM within the framework of the Program Metropolitan Fund for Support of Scienceu for the years 2022-2024.The ECOnomics4Climateu project is a package of scientific and educational activities, within the framework of the promotion of problems falling within the field of economics of climate change.The project was prepared by the team involved in the establishment of the university’s Center for Economics of Climate Change (CECC) and is the first output of the CECC’s scientific and research activities.

On October 24, 2023, we are celebrating the International Day of Climate Action and promoting multi-directional activities for climate neutrality. On the eve of this day (October 23, 2023) we would like to draw attention to the economic aspects of climate change, presenting the areas of interest and the main activities of CECC. On the second day of the conference (October 24, 2023), the results of the tasks carried out under the project ECOnomics4Climate will be presented.
